Work Experience
- Built a custom multi-vendor eCommerce site using Laravel and Nuxt 3
- Developed admin panel with product management, vendor onboarding, and analytics
- Created REST APIs for both web and mobile app use
- Integrated real-time chat (Pusher) and secure payments (Stripe, Knet)
- Implemented Twilio 2FA, optimized DB queries, and improved backend performance
- Built the Shopify integration from scratch: OAuth, product import and export, two-way inventory sync through jobs and webhooks, later rebuilt as one public Shopify app with HMAC-verified callbacks and encrypted tokens
- Built AI features on Google Gemini: product descriptions in English and Arabic, price analysis, a shopping assistant that understands Arabic queries, and Magic Listing, which drafts a product from a photo
- Built make-an-offer with counter offers, standalone auctions with saved-card bidding and anti-snipe, and Tap Payments saved cards with 3DS and Apple Pay
- Built communities and courses, unified chat with group moderation, and a real-time notification system across the API, dashboard and storefront
- Built POS barcode and camera scanning, designed the tier-aware vendor permissions system, and wrote feature test suites for Shopify and permissions
- Built and maintained 20+ websites using Laravel, React, Vue, and modern web technologies
- Developed booking systems, custom CMS platforms, and improved client SEO by ~65%
- Integrated payment gateways, built APIs for mobile apps, and worked on AI chatbot/ML projects
- Created and refactored Shopify sites using Liquid and custom middleware
